On the political front ...
A spokeswoman for Senator EDWARD "TED" KENNEDY tells the Associated Press that the 76-year-old is "conscious, talking [and] joking with family" at the hospital after suffering a seizure at his Cape Cod home Saturday morning.
"Senator Kennedy is resting comfortably, and it is unlikely we will know anything more for the next 48 hours," his spokeswoman said.
The longtime Democrat is joined at the hospital by his wife VICTORIA, two of his children and his niece CAROLINE, according to the AP.
Kennedy, the second-longest serving member of the Senate (and younger brother of President JOHN F. KENNEDY), was airlifted to Massachusetts General Hospital after taking ill with stroke-like symptoms.
