Newlyweds decide to hide out at home!

PETE WENTZ and new bride ASHLEE SIMPSON are spending their honeymoon in the basement, hanging out with blow-up palm trees and a tanning bed, the rocker told RYAN SEACREST's radio show.  

In the interview on Ryan's KIIS-FM show, Wentz said they decided on a low-key honeymoon in an attempt to throw off the publicity-hungry press. 

Wentz said he feels good after the wedding, like "a weight has been lifted from my shoulders." He said they have just been hanging out in the basement, playing Monopoly and eating pizza. 

The bridegroom, who said an earlier wedding plan in San Diego had to be scrapped after the press found out, said he has learned to ignore the intense publicity and that the only important thing is that he and Ashlee are happy.

Wentz revealed that they had signed a pre-nuptial agreement and said Ashlee now legally carries his name. However, he denied reports about Ashlee being pregnant, saying, "This baby has not been confirmed." 

He also had little to say about reported troubles between JESSICA SIMPSON and TONY ROMO, saying he is already too busy trying to clear up his own rumors. He did say the couple looked happy at the wedding and that Tony even danced with his grandmother.
