NY governor gets Hollywood treatment.

The series finale of "Law & Order" featuring a prominent politician caught up in a controversy involving a call girl may sound familiar to viewers and cast alike! Asked if the show planned to do a spin on the ELIOT SPITZER scandal, series star SAM WATERSTON told the Associated Press, "That's what we're shooting right now."

He went on to clarify, "I shouldn't say we're doing the Eliot Spitzer story. I should say we're doing a story about a politician who gets into trouble because of sexual questions ... involving prostitution."

The season finale of "Law & Order" airs Wednesday at 10/9c on NBC.
