Male bonding goes to a whole new level in the new comedy 'I Love You, Man,' and we're behind the scenes with the film's goofy leads, PAUL RUDD and JASON SEGEL!
If this pairing looks familiar, it's because Segel and Rudd shared the big screen in the JUDD APATOW comedy hits 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' and 'Knocked Up.'
This time around, Rudd plays a man who is about to get married, but because he doesn't really have any close male friends, he actively bonds with Segel to make him his best man.
"Through the course of my engagement I realize I have no male friends, because I've been kind of a girl-friend guy most of my life," explains Rudd. "For the first time in my life I have a buddy, so it's kind of like a 'bro-mantic' comedy."
"We've hung out a little bit," says Segel of his off-set time with Rudd, citing three actual times they got together.
"I don't know if I'd say they were 'man dates,'" interjects Rudd facetiously. "[But] you know, they weren't too bad."
'I Love You, Man' was written and directed by 'Along Came Polly' helmer JOHN HAMBURG.
