Tori and Dean talk '90210,' the new season of their reality show and the upcoming birth of their daughter.
TORI SPELLING and DEAN McDERMOTT open their lives for a third go-round of their Oxygen reality series. This season's show, called "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood," premiers Tuesday, June 17 at 10 p.m., and involves the couple checking out of their bed and breakfast in Fallbrook, Calif., and moving back to Hollywood -- just in time for Tori to join the "Beverly Hills, 90210" spin-off.
"I chose to go back to '90210,' because it is home," says Tori, who is expecting her second child, a daughter, in June. "We had such a loyal fan base for so many years. I owe everything to our fans. I really felt the need to give back to them. To give them Donna again and see where she is now."
When we left Donna, her aspiration was to be a fashion designer. That is something that Tori hopes will still be a part of her "90210" character's life for a very important reason -- so she will get to wear "very cool clothes."
As for whether or not the character is still married to David (BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN), she says, "Donna was pretty determined. I figure [her for] a hardcore career women who has been pretty driven all these years. It will be interesting to see how that has affected her marriage and where she stands with that, and if they have kids. I am just as interested as the fans to see where she is at."
In addition to focusing on the move back to Los Angeles, this season of "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" also focuses on Tori's second pregnancy. But, even though the show is still filming, we will not be following her into the delivery room.
"The pregnancy has been a big part of this season," says Tori, whose only craving this time around has been for Rocky Road ice cream. "I have been pregnant all season. We are not going to be covering the birth, obviously, but the baby being born will fit into the season."
