"Supernanny" JO FROST is an expert when it comes to corralling rowdy, misbehaving children. So much so that she has authored two New York Times bestsellers -- Supernanny and Ask Supernanny -- and is busy promoting her third book, Jo Frost's Confident Baby Care: What You Need to Know for the First Year from America's Most Trusted Nanny.
The British-born childcare expert sat down with ET's KEVIN FRAZIER, who is no stranger to advice from the Mary Poppins-like nanny, as she helped Kevin navigate his first year as a father with his son, SHANE.
"I'm telling y'all, seriously, she got me straight," Kevin admits. "I was a little out of sorts, but Jo got me straightened out."
Jo also tells Kevin that he isn't the only celeb who has sought her advice. Others, such as HUGH JACKMAN, have also been in touch. And she says, if asked, she would be happy to advise BRITNEY SPEARS. She says, "I do believe she loves her children very much and I'd be more than happy to help her. To be able to put her on the right track and feel more empowered as a parent."
She adds, "Importance in motherhood is about really relating to other mothers, being able to have support groups and it's about Britney being in a place where she's feeling secure and confident in herself, so that she is able to take care of her little ones and give them what they need from her, which is their mother around."
As for her new book, which focuses on newborns, Jo tells Kevin that her first priority is to help expectant parents build their confidence as they prepare for their baby's arrival. She writes, "My approach to baby care isn't about coping or dealing with strain. It's about helping you have the confidence to raise your baby in a healthy and content way."
