ET is behind the scenes with VANESSA WILLIAMS as she films promo spots for her upcoming gig as host of the "TV Land Awards."

"I am not like my diva character on 'Ugly Betty,'" she purrs into the camera. "I am humbled to share the stage with all the icons that are coming -- ROBIN WILLIAMS, JONATHAN WINTERS, the casts of 'Roseanne' and the 'Golden Girls.' Wow! The 'Golden Girls' better not upstage me. Hear that BETTY [WHITE]? Don't get ugly!"

The "Ugly Betty" star has shown she definitely knows her way around comedy, but for the opening number of the "TV Land Awards," she will be part of a big production number, not doing standup.

"I might be singing in that with some stunt effects going on, which I can't divulge," she tells ET, which is exclusively backstage with the star.
