It's the swingy '70s with wife swapping and free love when CBS' "Swingtown" premieres Thursday, June 5, at 10 p.m. The series is a flashback to an earlier decade that changed the social and political landscape of America.
The series stars "Melrose Place" alum GRANT SHOW and LANA PARRILLA as the sexually free Deckers, MOLLY PARKER and JACK DAVENPORT as their new neighbors the Millers and JOSH HOPKINS and MIRIAM SHOR as the conservative Thompsons.
"We [the Deckers] are bringing [the Millers] into a new world -- a world of fun and enjoyment. Get on the roller coaster with us. It is a good ride," Grant explains the first night's episode.
That said, both Grant and Lana insist that there is not that much sex on the show. "It is about a family and different generations in that time and era," Lana points out.
One thing all the actors agree on is their throw-back polyester wardrobe.
"I keep away from flames," jokes Grant, whose character is an airline pilot.
And Lana, who plays a former stewardess, adds, "We have the tightest wardrobe and have to squeeze into our clothes."
