The veteran actor is set to appear in court tomorrow.
Former Chicago cop and former "Law & Order" star DENNIS FARINA has been charged with three misdemeanor weapons counts related to a Los Angeles arrest earlier this month.
Farina will appear tomorrow at L.A.'s Airport Branch Courthouse on one count each of carrying a weapon into a secured area, possession of a concealed weapon, and possession of a loaded weapon in a public place.
Farina was arrested in May on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon after police say they found a .22-caliber handgun in his briefcase as he tried to pass through security at LAX airport.
LAPD officers say Farina was attempting to fly from L.A. to Chicago when security agents discovered the gun. A former Chicago officer for 19 years, Farina was "apologetic and cooperative" and allegedly told authorities he forgot he was carrying the weapon. He was booked on a felony and posted bail of $25,000.
