"The Golden Girls" BETTY WHITE, BEA ARTHUR and RUE McCLANAHAN were joined by the likes of STEVE CARELL, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and MIKE MYERS on Sunday night when TV Land honored the best shows and actors on TV at the "TV Land Awards," airing Sunday, June 15, at 9 p.m.
The "Golden" reunion was bittersweet as ESTELLE GETTY, who suffers from dementia, could not join the rest of the girls.
However, they do still speak with her and know she's in good hands. "She's getting good care and they love her very dearly," Betty told our JANN CARL. "They're taking tender loving care of her."
The event took place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. and was hosted by "Ugly Betty" star VANESSA WILLIAMS, who is currently filming the new 'Hannah Montana' movie.
"I'm having a great time," Vanessa says. "I think it's going to be a big hit next year."
Highlights of the night included tributes to Mike Myers, GARRY MARSHALL (who created such-long running comedies as "Happy Days" and "Laverne & Shirley"), legendary funny man JONATHAN WINTERS and the TV shows "Roseanne" and of course, "The Golden Girls."
LIONEL RICHIE provided musical entertainment with a medley of his hits.
