A real-life missing persons case ends happily for the "NCIS" star!
In a personal email, "NCIS" star PAULEY PERRETTE has contacted ET to say that a friend of her family's has been found alive and well after going missing last Wednesday in
Hollywood. Pauley tells ET, "Thankfully, this one
has a happy ending. I was with the missing girl's parents at my church
this morning when we got the call that she was found."
Pauley says she joined the search after LAMI NICOLE POWLESLAND,
24, was reported missing last Wednesday. According to news reports, the young woman's purse and
belongings were found along hiking trail Runyon Canyon.
Los Angeles police confirm that they and fire department officials conducted an extensive search for her over the
weekend. Authorities say Lami was found in her vehicle at 1 p.m. today in a Ralph's parking lot in Hollywood.
TV criminologist Pauley is grateful to police, saying: "The L.A.F.D. and the L.A.P.D. were amazing in their late-night search of Runyon Canyon!"
