The actress has died.
Actress CYD CHARISSE has passed away, according to the Associated Press. She was 86.
The actress, who rose to fame acting and dancing in classic big screen musicals of the 1940s and '50s like 'Ziegfield Follies' and 'Singin' in the Rain,' died Tuesday after suffering a heart attack Monday.
Charisse, born TULA ELLICE FINKLEA in Amarillo, Texas, appeared on the big screen alongside dancing legends like FRED ASTAIRE and GENE KELLY.
The actress is survived by her husband of 60 years, TONY MARTIN, and two sons.
