SCOTT BAIO and wife RENEE invited ET's THEA ANDREWS into their home for an exclusive interview about the health scare they recently underwent with their baby girl, BAILEY.

Only one day after the couple brought their daughter home, they had alarming news from the hospital that she had tested positive for a life-threatening disease. Scott and Renee tell Thea about the devastation they felt upon learning of Bailey's condition -- a metabolic disorder called GA-1 -- and the testing the baby underwent to confirm the diagnosis.

Renee also discusses what a difficult pregnancy she had. Bailey was to have been a twin, but before she could carry them both to term, Renee lost one of the babies.

Scott, who last year starred in VH1's "Scott Baio is 45 ... and Single," also talks about returning to work. He will be the executive producer and star in a series for the network that will bring together eight teen idols from the '80s and '90s to examine their idol status and try to figure out a way to get their careers back on track.
