He may play a disgruntled superhero in 'Hancock,' but Will Smith is always entertaining in person. He sat down with our Kevin Frazier to talk about facing off against daughter Willow at the box office, and those crazy rumors about him and co-star Charlize Theron!
As far as Charlize goes, Will explains, "We just have genius chemistry," "Charlize just has so much range as an actress. You can throw something and she comes back. I'm really interested in us being able to work more."
In the movie, Will plays a cranky, disillusioned superhero, and Charlize plays his biggest critic, the wife of a PR executive (JASON BATEMAN) who thinks he's a lost cause. The anti-hero movie opens July 1, the day after Will's daughter's movie, 'Kitt Kittredge: An American Girl,' opens wide.
"Her movie's opening, like, directly against mine," Will says. "I just made it very clear that I loved her, but I was going to have to do the 'daggone' thing to her at the box office!"
