A newly blonde Abigail Breslin explains her retro look for 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl,' and co-star and dad of five Chris O'Donnell talks about his role in the soon-to-be-smash with ET!

Based on the hugely popular American Girl book and doll series, 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl' stars Abigail as a resourceful young girl living during the Great Depression whose bravery, compassion and determination help her solve a mystery that saves her family's home. 

Superstar Julia Roberts executive produced the movie with her sister, Lisa Gillan.

The film is open in select theaters now (for a 10-day exclusive engagement in L.A., New York, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta) before opening nationwide on July 2.
