"You know, I'm a survivor," Steven Tyler tells ET -- admitting that he entered rehab last month to recover from his dependency on pain relief medication.
The Aerosmith frontman reveals that he sought treatment due to pain medications he received after foot surgery. He'd been sober for 12 years prior to that.
"All the drugs and pharmaceuticals they gave me, I was off and running again," he says. "I got up to L.A. and said enough of this ... so I checked into detox and I came out the wormhole."
Back on his feet, Steven and the band were out for the launch of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith in stores now -- and the boys promise you'll learn more than guitar licks from the game.
"It allows people to crawl in bed with us," Steven says, giving fans an insight into the band like never before!
