ET is there as Christie Brinkley becomes emotional as she arrives to a Long Island, New York courthouse for the start of her and estranged husband Peter Cook's divorce trial.

"I really hoped with all my heart that we could've settled this out of court but since we are here to trial today, I'm going to save my comments for the courtroom," Christie said to the swarm of media just moments before tearing up.

When Cook arrived, he told the press, "It's sad that we have to be here ... I never thought I'd get divorced."
