DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak tell ET they are just a normal couple with a normal relationship, despite finding love on a TV reality show.
Unlike previous couples who have found love on ABC's "The Bachelorette," newly engaged couple DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak have already set their wedding date. The couple selected May 9, 2009 because it is the anniversary of the day they got engaged, and they have opted to marry in the Bahamas because it is where they fell in love.
If DeAnna and Jesse do take that walk down the aisle, they will only be the second couple from "The Bachelor" franchise to do so. The first, of course, was Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, who married in December 2003 and have a one-year-old son. Trista and Ryan televised their wedding. Do DeAnna and Jesse plan to do the same?
"We are taking it one day at a time," says the laid back Jesse, whose cousin was the one who actually submitted his name for consideration to "The Bachelorette"'s casting office. "We haven't been approached by anyone to do a televised wedding. It's our day. We're not really too sure if we're interested in a super-publicized wedding day. We're not necessarily opposed to it, but we haven't even really discussed it."
Whether it is televised or not, the couple are hoping to invite a few of the other suitors from this season's "The Bachelorette."
"Big Brian, I would love to have there and Richard, Freddie and Jason," Jesse says. "Those guys will be friends of ours forever and close friends at that."
DeAnna and Jesse plan to split their time between their two homes: DeAnna's in Atlanta and Jesse's in Breckenridge, Colorado.
With this fairytale ending, DeAnna, who was left at the altar -- so to speak -- in an earlier season of "The Bachelor" when Brad Womack nixed both her and Jenni Croft in the finale of the show, has put all that negativity behind her.
"[Maybe I had to experience all that] to lead me to the person that I was meant to be with because Jesse isn't like any other guy I've dated, but it's also the best thing in the world because he's exactly what I want in the long run," she says. "He puts me first. He is that person that can make me smile every day. He's always doing these crazy romantic nice things just to make me smile."
