In new court documents, lawyers for Cynthia Rodriguez, estranged wife of Alex Rodriguez, are requesting any evidence indicating whether the baseball star had his wife under surveillance.
According to the documents, her lawyers have requested that her husband hand over any reports that he has "received from a detective, investigator or any other person based upon surveillance" of Cynthia.
"All tape recordings and other evidence prepared from tape recordings made in connection with any wiretapping or electronic surveillance conducted by you or others on your behalf," the court papers show.
Cynthia filed for divorce from Alex in a Florida court on July 7, citing "extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct."
