Brian Austin Green is playing an action hero these days, but has fond memories of his time on "Beverly Hills, 90210."
Brian Austin Green has come a long way since his days on "Beverly Hills, 90210." He is currently starring in FOX's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," which means he isn't available to appear on The CW's "90210" spin-off when it premieres this fall even though his "90210" character David is married to Tori Spelling's character Donna, who will be returning to her old zip code for a few guest appearances.
"From what I have heard, I think they are just playing that we are very busy and not in town," Brian told ET at a press conference for his new series. "I haven't spoken to anyone regarding the show. I don't know what the story intentions are."
That said, Brian sends his well wishes to the folks involved in the spin-off saying, "I hope it does really good. I hope it kicks a$$."
The kids on "Beverly Hills, 90210" were huge teen stars in their day, but it was a much saner time back then. Brian says, "I am glad we didn't have to deal with what it is now with paparazzi. That would have driven us all crazy. I don't know how anybody deals with it now. It is hard for me and I deal with it on a very small level."
