On the political front...
During an appearance on "Larry King Live" Tuesday night, Barack Obama addressed the firestorm surrounding a magazine cover depicting him as a Muslim and his wife in military garb.
"Well I know it was the 'New Yorker''s attempt at satire. I don't think they were entirely successful with it," the Democratic presidential nominee told King, adding: "I do think that, you know, it probably fueled some misconceptions about me instead."
Obama again debunked the notion that he was raised in a Muslim household and reiterated to King that he is a Christian who pledges allegiance to the American flag.
"I think the American people are probably spending a little more time worrying about what's happneing with the banking system and the housing market, and what's happening in Iraq and Afghanistan, than a cartoon," he said. "So, I haven't spent alot of time thinking about it."
