Fellow originals Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have company!

ET confirms that Shannen Doherty is returning to her famed zip code! Gabe Sachs, executive producer of '90210,' tells us that the actress will reprise her character Brenda Walsh in a guest role.

On the highly anticipated "Beverly Hills, 90210" spinoff, West Beverly Hills High School has approached Brenda -- last seen headed to London to study acting -- to return to her alma mater as a guest director for the school's musical production.

As previously announced, Jennie Garth returns as Kelly Taylor, now a West Beverly guidance counselor; Tori Spelling returns as Donna Martin, now owner of an upscale boutique, and Joe E. Tata returns as Nat, owner of The Peach Pit.

"They will be on multiple episodes," Sachs tells ET. "Jennie's character was brought back in an organic way. The roles are more than cameos."

And Sachs doesn't rule out the return of other classic characters, so long as they, too, fit organically within the new storylines. He adds that no other former cast members have been approached yet.

'90210' debuts with a two-hour premiere September 2 on the CW Network. The show is affiliated with AFTRA, so if SAG does strike, they can continue to work.
