According to Rush & Mallory of the NY Daily News, Anne Hathaway keeps getting pulled deeper into the fraud scandal surrounding her ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri.
Sources tell the paper that agents confiscated Anne's personal diaries along with other items such as documents, watches, a Tiffany clock, an antique Bible and personal photos of the couple all in hopes of building their case against Follieri during a raid at his Trump Tower residence.
According to a 12-count complaint, the 29-year-old Follieri, allegedly ran a fraudulent real estate investment scheme from June 2005 through June 2007 in which he claimed to have close ties to the Vatican enabling him to buy Catholic Church properties at a large discount. He is currently in jail until he can post a whopping $21 million bail. If convicted, he could face 20 years in prison.
Sources say Hathaway has not been charged with any crime and no longer associates with Follieri.
