The 'Transformers' star was busted Sunday morning on suspicion of drunk driving, following a car accident in Hollywood that injured the actor and two others, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman. He was issued a citation and released to a nearby hospital for treatment.

We were at the scene of the crash at Fountain and La Brea Avenues in L.A., and also at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where Shia underwent surgery on his hand right after the accident. ET confirms the hand surgery was "extensive" but that he will back on the set of 'Transformers 2' within a month.
