ET breaks news that legendary comedy and film icon Jerry Lewis was stopped by authorities in Las Vegas after they allegedly discovered an unloaded firearm in his carry-on luggage.

As he was passing through security at McCarran International Airport on Friday, officials say that they discovered the gun in his bag. Las Vegas police say he claimed he didn't know the weapon was in the bag and stated that other people in his family had used the bag.

Police tell us that he was cited for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.
