Is she preparing to captain a space odyssey?

She steamed up TV sets as Pamela Ewing on "Dallas," is Victoria Principal now preparing to bullet the blue sky in a tycoon's spacecraft? The New York Post says that the 58-year-old actress (and qualified pilot) has hinted at wanting to fly Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic aircraft. She even visited the Mojave Desert last week for the unveiling ceremony of his "White Knight Two."

"Will Virgin Galactic have any women pilots?" Principal asked during the event's Q & A session, says the Post, which adds that the actress has reportedly shelled out $200,000 to soar 70 miles above Earth on the spacecraft, which seats six, briefly experiencing weightlessness at the end of the two-and-a-half-hour voyage.
