It's the all new behind the scene's footage with Christina Applegate, before ET broke the news that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Two months ago, ET's Thea Andrews was on the set of "Samantha Who" with Christina . It was a happy occasion for the ABC star who was dancing in the episode that was filming that week.
"I haven't been able to dance uninjured in a long time, so it feels really great to be able to do it," Christina, who earned a Tony nomination for Sweet Charity on Broadway, tells Thea. "It feels really great to be able to do it. I'm really confident that I'm not going to do roll over on it and break it again."
The broken bone to which Christina is referring is her foot. The accident happened during her time on Broadway, but trooper that she is , she returned to the stage as quickly as possible afterwards.
"I've been a dancer my whole life," Christina explains, even as she points out that she is rusty. "I stopped a few years ago, but I was trained."
In addition to "Samantha Who," Christina has several events pending. She stars with Rainn Wilson ("The Office") in 'The Rocker," which will open in theaters on August 20; she will take part in "Stand Up 2 Cancer," special airing on September 5 on ABC, NBC and CBS; and on September 13, she will find out whether or not she takes home the Emmy for her work on the series.
