Josh Brolin made his first public appearance in Hollywood since his arrest in Shreveport, Louisiana last month -- and ET was with him at the HollyShorts Film Fest!

The star of the upcoming Oliver Stone-directed George Bush biopic 'W.' debuted his short film 'X' at the 4th annual festival, which kicked off Thursday night at the Egyptian Theatre.

Stars such as Seth Rogen and Jessica Biel -- as well as Brolin's wife, Diane Lane -- were on-hand to support the high-profile short film projects and to honor filmmakers David Lynch and Paul Haggis, who received the HollyShorts Visionary Award and Outstanding Achievement Award, respectively.
