Lauren Conrad returns for the fourth season of "The Hills," premiering Monday, August 18 at 10 p.m. on MTV, and ET gets the 411 from the reality TV star on what fans of the series can look forward to.
"[I'm] still best friends with Lo; there are a couple of reconciliations on the show -- we left last season off not on best terms with everyone -- things have gotten better since, but they got worse before they got better," she reveals.
As for Justin Bobby, Lauren says, "I think he is always just going to be there. There are a couple of new guys. You are also going to see a bit of Whitney's romantic life."
But the big news for Lauren right now is that for the first time in Emmy history, a celebrity designer has been asked to create a gown for the women who hand out the Emmy statuettes -- and she is that designer!
"This year is the diamond anniversary of the Emmys, so we want to add a diamond broach [to the gowns] to tie into the theme," explains Lauren, whose fall line is currently available at Bloomingdales. "[The gown] is supposed to be a classic design. It is supposed to be simple. They are not supposed to stand out, but you still want an element of your own design in there. So, we are probably going to take a couple of the bodies from previous collections, make them floor-length and put them in chiffon, so it will be a classic, beautiful look with my own twist."
Lauren has already ordered crinkled navy chiffon fabric for the Emmy gown she is creating -- but she is clueless about what she will wear. She may check out something by two of her muses: Diane von Furstenberg and Monique Lhuillier -- and she says that she will probably take Lo as her date.
With all this involvement in the television industry, surprisingly, Lauren tells ET that she doesn't see a future for herself in the medium -- at least not in front of the cameras. She admits to not being a great actress, but says that that is why her role on the upcoming season of "Greek" was tailor-made for her!
"I said [I would do it] if I could play myself, because I can't act at all," she says. "I could manage doing myself. I tried [acting] when I first moved to L.A. I took a couple of classes. Awful. Any opportunity you have to make fun of yourself I think is fun to do, but acting is an art and I don't think I have a talent there."
