In a sad twist of fate, Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes, who both passed away this weekend, will appear together in the movie 'Soul Men' this November.
The musical comedy finds Mac teamed up with Samuel L. Jackson as a pair of estranged soul-singing legends who decide to perform in a concert honoring their late band-leader. Hayes plays himself in the film.
Mac, 50, died of complications from pneumonia at a Chicago-area hospital on Saturday. Hayes died at his home in Memphis at age 65 on Sunday.
