The film depicts a foiled real-life plot by German officers to assassinate Hitler during the height of the war.

Meanwhile, Tom has moviegoers buzzing for another reason, his almost unrecognizable role in 'Tropic Thunder,' which opens today.

Earlier this week, ET revealed that the actor actually turned down the role of a CIA officer in the film 'Edwin A. Salt' over a month ago. Angelina Jolie is reportedly now up for the role.
