A famous movie home is bought up.
A very big piece of movie history is off the market. Remember Cher's brownstone home from 'Moonstruck'? It's been sold for "'very close' to $4 million," says the New York Post.
Deal-broker Elliott Lokitz tells the paper that the sale of the abode actually had more to do with "right house in the right place in the right condition" than with the buyer's interest in Cher's 1987 romantic-comedy classic.
The four-story house had been home to Edward and Francesca Rullman since 1959, says the Post. The couple put the abode up for sale in 2006 with an asking price of $5 million, Lokitz tells the paper.
