A UK paper says she opens up about her difficult balancing act.

Meg Ryan is speaking out about the challenges she's encountered balancing her romantic life with her career.

Britain's Daily Mail says she told Hello! magazine: "It's very difficult to be a career person and have a relationship. I didn't succeed at doing it at all. It's incredibly hard."

Ryan, who was married to Dennis Quaid for ten years, added: "I think you have to figure out some way of keeping all of those capabilities and requirement in your life in balance."
