Victoria Beckham is fighting back against the rumors that she's taking diet pills, gossip reportedly stemming from an article in the British tabloid Now magazine.

"The accusation by Now magazine that Victoria Beckham is taking any kind of slimming pill is dangerous, defamatory and blatantly untrue," her rep tells ET. "Victoria takes her position as a role model to young women very seriously and is horrified by this hurtful, fabricated story. It is now in the hand of her lawyers."
