Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson and Demi Moore are just a few of the hot names in Hollywood that celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe has on speed dial. After all, she dresses these ladies for red carpet events, editorial shoots and premieres.
Now, Bravo is giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look into Rachel's star-studded life when "The Rachel Zoe Project" premieres on Tuesday, September 9 at 11 p.m. It will follow Zoe and her team as they dress Hollywood's elite for success.
Zoe is controversial for her size zero figure and for the fact that she has notably dressed some of Hollywood's extremely thin stars. But that is in the past, she says, adding that she doesn't have a single size zero client on her roster right now.
"I am very pro eating," she says. "I am really a Jewish mother at heart. If you ask anyone in my personal life or professional life, I am almost like a food pusher. I don't let people leave my home or my studio without either eating or a goody bag for the car. That is the family I come from. I am very in support of healthy women and healthy bodies. In fact, every woman that I work with at this point in my life is very healthy with a curvy, athletic body."
Zoe says she didn't sign on for the reality series in order to change perceptions about her, but she feels that that is what has happened since people have been viewing the pilot.
She comments: "I think the interesting thing to me is the shocking reaction of my haters, I like to say. They are saying, 'Oh my God. She is this real person. She is this nice normal person.' And I am still trying to figure out why they didn't think that I was that. So [the series] shows who I really am. It really is a docu-series. It is as realistic as it gets on television."
Tune in when "The Rachel Zoe Project" premieres and judge for yourself!
