"Desperate Housewives" actor Kyle MacLachlan is set to star in a PSA campaign aimed at raising awareness and funds to help find a cure for ovarian cancer.

Kyle has joined forces with the Callaway Golf Foundation (CGF) and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) to become a 2008 ambassador for the CGF's Women's Cancer Initiative. His broadcast campaign is accompanied by a print campaign featuring Halle Berry.

Having donated to $2 million to the EIF's Women's Cancer Programs, the CGF's Women's Cancer Initiative works to fast-track breakthrough treatments and tests to beat this disease.
