Report: Israel Says 'Let It Be' To Paul McCartney?

Sir Paul McCartney could be performing in Israel after a 40-year Beatles ban, says the Associated Press.

The report says he will perform in Tel Aviv, Israel on Sept. 25. The Beatles were banned more than four decades ago for fear they would corrupt young fans.

But McCartney's publicist Stuart Bell is quoted in the report saying, "Nothing's been confirmed."
