New Video: John Legend 'Inspired' During DNC Performance

ET's Kevin Frazier talks to John Legend about his performance at the Democratic National Convention last night during which he sang his new song "If You're Out There."

Legend said he was caught up in the "historic moment" by the energy of the crowd and an accompanying choir, making the event "inspiring and breathtaking."

The Grammy-winning singer said even though he was aware of the major political figures in the audience, his focus remained on his music, which he says goes beyond any political boundaries.
