Faye Palin, the mother-in-law of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, says she is unsure if she will vote for her daughter-in-law in the upcoming election, reports the New York Daily News.

The elder Palin admitted to the paper that she enjoys watching Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama, as he makes speeches and she's not sure yet who she's going to vote for.

And she says she was even surprised when Sen. John McCain announced Palin as his choice VP.

"I'm not sure what she brings to the ticket other than she's a woman and a conservative. Well, she's a better speaker than McCain," Faye Palin told the paper as she laughed. "People will say she hasn't been on the national scene long enough. But I believe she's a quick study."

She goes on to say: "We don't agree on everything. But I respect her passion," she told the paper. "Being pro-life is who Sarah is."
