It's "ET's" all new interview at the Toronto Film Festival with movie royalty, Keira Knightley, talking about her transformation into 18th Century royalty in her new film 'The Duchess.'
Keira tells "ET's" Jann Carl, her wig alone required 2 feet of hair and 2 feet of feathers!
The head dress was so massive that it needed its own wooden stand to be placed on! Not to mention her costume could hide a small family, she says!
"It was so heavy I couldn't keep my head up," she tells Jann. "So I kept rocking backwards and forwards!"
In 'The Duchess', Keira plays the role of Georgiana, the Duchess of Devonshire, who was the distant relative to the late Princess Diana.
"It's stepping into a completely different world," she says. "That's what I love about film -- that you can just escape to a different time and a different place."
Keira's co-stars include heart throb on the rise Domique Cooper and Ralph Fiennes. Dominque plays her on-screen lover and Ralph her on-screen husband.
'The Duchess' is scheduled to hit theaters on September 19th.
