Jessica Simpson's transition from pop to country music is paying off as the singer's latest album Do You Know debuted at the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, In Touch Weekly reports.

The new album also took the No. 4 spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart and Jessica says she is excited that the fans are now embracing her as a country crooner.  

"I'm extremely touched by the overwhelmingly positive response to the album," In Touch quotes Jessica as saying. "There is so much honesty and raw emotion in there. And, I'm just thrilled that country fans are giving it a chance!"
