Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has accumulated some serious bling and now plans to unload some of her priciest jewelry -- rumored to be gifts from a famous ex-love -- at auction, People magazine reports.
The 28-year-old Bundchen, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as "the world's richest supermodel," will be selling a 3.35 carat colored Sabbadini diamond ring expected to fetch between $15,000 to $20,000 during the Christie's Jewels: The New York Sale auction, to be held October 15.
She is also trying to unload a 6 carat diamond pendant necklace worth between $120,000 to $150,000. The supermodel, who formerly dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio, has not officially revealed who gave her the items being put up for sale.
A portion of proceeds from the auction will go to the Russell Simmons-co-founded charity Diamond Empowerment Fund, which provides educational funding to diamond-producing countries in Africa, People said.
