Leonard Maltin Remembers Paul Newman

 

He truly was Newman's Own. An Oscar winning actor and award-winning director, Paul Newman was a screen giant. Now, ET's own film guru and historian Leonard Maltin remembers an iconic career that spanned five decades.

Along with Marlon Brando, Newman helped redefine leading men in the late 1950's and 60's. But he was more than just one of the most respected and beloved leading men of his generation; Newman was also one of Hollywood's greatest philanthropists who quietly gifted over $250 million to various charities since 1982.
