Hollywood's biggest stars come out each October for the annual Hollywood Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills and hosted by our own Mary Hart – and this year promises to be no exception!

The big year-end awards season kicks off with the Hollywood Awards, and Academy Award-winning director and producer Clint Eastwood, who directed Angelina Jolie in 'Changeling,' will receive the Hollywood Director of the Year Award at the 12th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony on October 27, 2008.

Funnyman and 'Tropic Thunder' actor/director Ben Stiller will be honored with the Hollywood Comedy of the Year Award, while 'The Wrestler' star Marisa Tomei will receive the Hollywood Supporting Actress of the Year Award.

The Hollywood Awards honor the celluloid achievements of a variety of Hollywood players, both in front and behind the lens, offering a unique preview of this year's leading Oscar contenders.

But before the awards are handed out, online movie fans can have their voice heard by voting for their favorite movie of the year! From superhero hits like 'The Dark Knight,' 'Iron Man' and 'Hancock' to 'Wanted,' 'WALL-E' and 'Sex and the City,' the film that gets the most online votes will be declared the winner!

Other key honors this year will go to 'The Dark Knight' team of Christopher Nolan, Charles Roven and Emma Thomas, who will receive the Producers Award; 'Pineapple Express' star James Franco will get the Breakthrough Actor Award; John Patrick Shanley will collect both the Screenwriter Award and the Breakthrough Director Award for 'Doubt'; Disney/Pixar's 'Wall-E' and director Andrew Stanton will receive the Hollywood Animation Award, and prolific soundtrack man Danny Elfman will receive the Film Composer Award.
