Jason Priestley is returning to his old Beverly Hills stomping grounds by directing an episode of the new CW hit "90210," and he tells Ryan Seacrest that he hopes to reunite with former co-stars Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty.

"I just hope that Jennie's in the episode that I do, or that Shannen's there," Jason told Ryan on his KISS-FM radio show. "That would be fun for me."

He says he keeps up with Jennie: "I do I talk to Jennie all the time; we're actually neighbors. She's having a really good time over there."

Of course, Jason and Shannen played twins Brandon and Brenda Walsh on the original FOX hit "Beverly Hills, 90210," while Jennie was Kelly Taylor. While Brenda and Kelly appear on "90210," there are no plans to resurrect Brandon.

"You know I'm really looking forward to it," Jason says of his directing gig. "It's going to be a lot of fun to go over there and work with all of those guys."
