ET was at the L.A. premier of Kevin Smith's new romantic comedy "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks. ET talks to the film's stars and gets the inside scoop on how you may be surprised by the film!
"It's so super romantic," Banks tells ET about the film's unexpected love story. "I mean, the porno is a way to undercut the romance in the movie because our first goal is to make people laugh, but you could cry too -- that's how sweet it is."
The film traces lifelong platonic friends Zack (Rogen) and Miri (Banks) as they attempt to solve their cash flow problems by making an adult film together. As the cameras roll, the duo discovers they actually have more feelings for each other than previously thought.
Smith became famous portraying the character Silent Bob in a series of self-directed movies including 'Clerks,' 'Mallrats,' 'Dogma' and 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.'
