Jane Fonda and Meredith Viera were among those on hand for Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame's 18th Annual Awards dinner which saw "Today Show" host Matt Lauer welcomed into the Hall of Fame.

The prestigious event was hosted by CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric, with other celebs lending support including Al Roker, Kerry Washington and correspondents from the newsmagazine "60 Minutes."

Eleven teams will head out around the world when the new season of "The Amazing Race" premieres on Sunday, Sept. 26 on CBS. The teams will travel more than 32,000 miles, cover four continents and 30 cities. For the first time, the Racers will visit Bangladesh, Ghana and bundle up for a journey into the Arctic Circle.
