"I hope that in the midst of this, God will give [Jennifer] some kind of peace," Sherri says. "I'm sending a lot of prayers Jennifer's way."
Two dead bodies have been discovered at a home listed under the same name as Jennifer Hudson's mother, the Associated Press reports.
A family pastor tells Chicago's WBBM that the Oscar-winner's 57-year-old mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, was found shot to death at a home on 70th Street and Yale Avenue. The other victim discovered was Hudson's brother Jason, a relative tells WBBM.
