Disney's musical comedy 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year' took the No. 1 spot at the box office over the weekend, bringing in a whopping $42 million, studio estimates showed Sunday.

Walt Disney's canine comedy 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua, ' starring Drew Barrymore, Jamie Lee Curtis, Andy Garcia and George Lopez, finished at No. 4 with $6.9 million, followed by New Line Cinema's crime drama 'Pride & Glory,' starring Edward Norton, Colin Farrell and Jon Voight, with 6.3 million.
