Jessica Simpson Stands Up Tony Romo & Elmo!

Jessica Simpson missed dates with her boyfriend Tony Romo and the Sesame Street character Elmo in the same night!

The singer and clothing designer was scheduled to fly from Nashville, TN to New York on Tuesday to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Macy's Department Store, but bad weather forced her to miss singing Happy Birthday with Elmo, People magazine reports.

She eventually made it to the Macy's event, but missed a possible romantic rendezvous with Tony, who had hoped the bad weather would allow Jessica to stay in town for a spontaneous date night.
